BODY & PAINT TECHNICAL TRAINER

Position based in Centurion, Gauteng, R30 000ctc, Contract


Our client has an opportunity for body shop staff wishing to move into training to broaden their skills enabling them to deliver a range of engaging and informative training programs which will include elements of course development and design. If you are a Qualified Panel Technician or Spray Painter or a Senior Panel Technician looking for your next opportunity, I would love to hear from you!


Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, learner-focused training solutions.

  • Ensure all training delivered is aligned to the Group and individual brand cultures and requirements.

  • Utilise appropriate technology in the delivery of learning interventions, such as e-learning and virtual classrooms as well as digital solutions.

  • Developing materials necessary for the delivery of new Model Launch courses for the South African Market.

  • Perform all aspects of the role to the agreed standards set out within yearly objectives between clients.

  • Completion of associated administrative tasks in time agreed.


Essential:

  • Background in a Panel Technician/Senior or a Senior Paint refurbishment role with (Mechanical and Car Electrical experience. Advantages)

  • Experience in Panel Beating/Repair of various materials of the modern vehicle i.e., Polyamide Plastic repair, Aluminum repair as well as Steel and High tensile steel repair. (Panel Beater)

  • Previous experience as a Service/Diagnostic or Master Technician an advantage.

  • A team player yet capable and willing to work on own initiative.

  • Ability to always maintain a dynamic and engaging delivery style.

  • Maintains credibility by keeping up to date with new and revised learning and development theories, practices, and methodologies including technological advancements.

  • A genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Industry recognised delivery accreditation.

  • Experience of utilising technology in the delivery of training such as webinars, social media.

  • Experience of working in a learning & development department.

  • An understanding of assessment tools and their links to Learning & Development.

  • An understanding of blended learning and its application.

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Learning & Development.
